About Me
Danny Green, nicknamed “The Green Machine,” is a retired Australian professional boxer and the only Australian to win four workd titles across three different weight divisions.
Born in 1973 in Perth, Danny is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most successful and popular athletes, known for his immense punching power and high-profile rivalry with Anthony Mundine.
On 2 December 2009, Green achieved one of the biggest wins in Australian boxing history by knocking out legendary eight-time world champion Roy Jones Jr. in the first round.
Danny founded and leads the ‘Cowards Punch Campaign’, a self-funded initiative dedicated to stopping senseless ‘one-punch’ street violence.
